We had so much fun riding bikes down the VA Creeper Trail after backpacking in Grayson Highlands State Park this spring. It was a nice change of pace from all the hiking we did, and our legs got a bit of a break, as the trail is mostly downhill. Sandy was so kind and really went above and beyond to help us. She set us up on comfortable bikes, showed us the map, and offered tips on the trail and where to go in town. The return shuttle was very convenient, and we had plenty of time to enjoy the town of Damascus. This is a MUST-DO experience if you are in the area! Thanks again Sandy for helping with all our gear!

Really nice and helpful people! This past weekend I made my first trip to the Virginia creeper trail, by myself, and I was a little nervous. I called Friday afternoon to make a reservation and the lady was really helpful with telling me where I need to go and helping me figure out which location I wanted to go to, because they do have two locations. I decided to park and get my bike at the white top location, and right down to the Damascus location, and catch the shuttle back up. When I got there to the white top location, both ladies were really helpful getting me checked in, and help me pick out a bike and gave me lots of information to get me on my way. I won’t talk a lot about the trail, but the trail itself was gorgeous. Well I made it to Damascus, thanks to the directions on the map they gave me, and what the girl told me, I found the Damascus location quickly. I parked my bike, went in, told them what shuttle I wanted to catch back up, and that was it. Thankfully I only had to wait about 15 minutes, and the gentleman who drove us up to white top, it was really nice. I was the only one catching a ride back up, so he dropped everyone else off at the very top of the trail, and drove me down to the actual white top location, which isn’t far from the very top and start of the trail. He chatted with me the entire way, was really nice, and I can’t remember his name for the life of me, but overall everyone there seems really nice and friendly. The price was very affordable for me. I don’t know how it compares to and in the other places, but I will definitely be using this location and business again and I plan on using it often!
